Sign the Waiver

Please copy and print the following in a word document at home.  When you pick up your cooler you will find an envelope where you can return the signed waiver. Please include this envelope with the waiver inside the cooler when returning your loaded trays.  Thank you!

Hold Harmless Agreement

This is a statement in which you are informed of a potential food allergy risk attached to you via the activity of freeze drying your own home-cooked foods in a U-Freeze It home freeze dryer. Your signature is required on this statement as confirmation that you have read and understand this statement. Please read before signing.

Warning

You, the client, are responsible for knowing if you have a food or other allergy.  We wish to advise you that the U-Freeze It Home Freeze Dryer is not located in an allergen-free facility.  While we make every effort to ensure a clean and food-safe environment, we cannot ensure nor guarantee that traces of allergens are not present in our environment.

If this presents a medical issue for you, your family, or others who may consume the food that is freeze dried at our facility, please make decisions accordingly as you will be responsible for all potential outcomes.  Please note that food freeze dried at our facility is not licensed or packaged for resale.

Exclusion of Liability

U-Freeze It cannot accept responsibly for any death, injury, or other loss suffered or caused by your choice to dry and/or consume food in a U-Freeze It home freeze dryer.  

Clients who choose to eat the food dried at our facility accept these risks entirely of their own will.

Freeze Dried Fruit and Veggie Powders

  "I'm having way too much fun with my freeze dryer!" says one of my good friends who is another avid FD enthusiast.  And I agree with her! There are just so many options when you choose to freeze dry your own food.  My food storage is no longer limited to the boring old "wheat, rice, beans and oats" routine.  My food storage is only limited by my imagination, which is currently running wild.  My plan is to come up with recipes for creating your own smoothies and drinks with these powders. But I see how these could also be used to add nutrition and flavor to pancakes, muffins, and quickbreads.  Maybe I could even sneak some kale powder into the lasagna and my kids will never know.  Pictured above you see strawberry, mango, banana, pear, kale, and beets.  I've also done apple but it didn't make it to the photo.  I love all the vivid colors and boy do they smell wonderful!  I'm wondering if they could even be used as flavor enhancers inste...
